Peter Rowan is an Americana icon, starting out as one of Bill Monroes Blue Grass Boys in the mid-1960s and a member of the transcendent bluegrass outfit Old And In The Way shortly thereafter, along with bandmates Vassar Clements, David Dawg Grisman, and Jerry Garcia. He has since collaborated with everyone from guitar legend Tony Rice to Beatles producer George Martin, while exploring music of all kinds. Now, hes teaming up with David Grismans son, Sam, and his Sam Grisman Project, to get back to his roots playing the music of Old and in the Way and so much more. Sam Grisman has been touring the country with his all-star band, capturing audiences hearts with the music of Dawg and Jerry, along with his own originals and selections from the roots songbook. When Peter and Sam get together, the cast of players is top-notch, the music gets to the very heart of American roots, and each performance will leave you breathless.
