Location: The Galleries at Heartland Art Club 101A West Argonne Kirkwood, Missouri 63122 Originally from St. Louis, MO, Cristine has studied drawing and painting from the age of 12. Her early art education came from private instructors and workshops at Washington University and the St. louis Art Museum. She later studied Fine Art at the University of Kansas. Her appreciation for the uniqueness of people and nature is conveyed in each portrait or landscape painting. Cristine has a constant fascination with solving the problems of light, composition, and color each painting and drawing. Her work depicts many subjects but primarily focuses on the everchanging sky over the prairies of the Midwest. She sets out to transport the viewer to that place in time, connected to the subject, light, and atmosphere. Website: www.cristinesundquist.com/ Email: crissundquist@yahoo. com
