Join the Carson City Parks, Recreation and Open Space Department on a guided kayaking trip exploring one of our region's lakes. Our certified guides will cover the basics of kayaking and lead you on a fun trip on beautiful waters. Kayaking equipment and transportation are included in the price. All trips leave from the Carson City MAC (1860 Russell Way) . Please note, that various conditions such as weather, smoke, and lake water levels may cause either cancellation, postponement, or location change. We do our best to stick to the advertised schedule but as with any outdoor adventure, sometimes we need to change plans. Included in registration: transportation, kayak, paddle, and life jacket. If needed, paddle pants and jacket are available. If the trip occurs at night for a full moon paddle, a headlamp is available. You are welcome to provide any of your own equipment if preferred. Carson City Parks and Recreation can only transport kayaks that are under 12 feet in length.
