This giant frozen desert is home to incredible animals with specific adaptations for survival in this extreme biome. This program focuses on the life science aspects of studying life, climate, and seasonality inside the Arctic Circle. We will explore how creatures thrive in the dramatic seasonal shifts and difficult conditions of the Far North. The most exciting part is that Animals of the North Pole will be visiting the library! We are thrilled to host a real-life reindeer that children can meet and learn about firsthand.
