Details:
Generating Regional Opportunities in Workforce (GROW) aims to inspire students in the realm of battery science and energy storage. This initiative is a partnership with Upstate New York Energy Storage Engine and seeks to engage middle and high school students in meaningful learning experiences that not only expand their knowledge in STEM fields but also prepare them for future career opportunities.
The sessions will take place on Saturdays for 2 hours of education and fun. Through interactive sessions, students will explore topics such as renewable energy, energy storage systems, and innovative technologies shaping the future of our planet. They will build an invention of their own using energy storage concepts. This club not only enhances their technical skills but also fosters teamwork, problem-solving, and critical thinking.
