Join us for a group hike to the Kelly Butte Fire Lookout. This is a family/kid friendly hike. Meaning we will have lots of varied paces, and they are all welcome. More details to come in the event page about trail specifics. As is customary with our kid hikes, we will meet up at the Chick-fil-A in Bonney Lake at 8:30am. Grab some breakfast for the road and caravan to the trailhead. Drive time to the trail is about 90 minutes. The forest road up to the trail head is pretty rough, and a 4x4 or all wheel drive is needed. We will end up hitting the trail around 10:30am. The hike is 3.5 miles round trip. The fire lookout is the halfway point of the hike and a great spot to have lunch and take in the views. On the way back home save a little time to stop in the Wapati Outpost for some well earned ice cream! All family and friends are welcome to on this hike.
