The "Photographing America’s Public Lands Lecture," originally scheduled for August 2, 2025, has been cancelled due to unsafe air quality. This program, designed for photography enthusiasts of all skill levels, was to feature Don Tredinnick from Frozen Hiker Photography, who would share his extensive experience in capturing the beauty of America’s public lands. Participants would have learned about selecting destinations, planning trips, packing, safety, and post-trip activities, all conducted indoors at the Bloomington Visitor Center. Attendees were encouraged to wear comfortable clothing and bring their cameras to practice new photography techniques.
