Join the Alabama Ballet for a magical presentation of George Balanchine's The Nutcracker®, one of only eight companies in the world authorized by the George Balanchine Trust© to perform this cherished holiday classic. Featuring Tchaikovsky's beloved melodies, the performance whisks audiences, both young and young-at-heart, into a fantastical realm filled with mischievous mice, a valiant army of toy soldiers, and an enchanting Land of Sweets brought to life amidst an onstage blizzard. The Alabama Symphony Orchestra will accompany the ballet for the first three performances, enhancing the festive experience. Please note, all attendees who have celebrated their second birthday must have a ticket. Tickets will go on sale to the public starting Monday, August 11, 2025, at 8:00 AM.
