Join hiking enthusiast Paul Schuman and French Creek State Park Environmental Education Specialist Jared Brandt as they lead participants through this historically rich site. Explore the remains of the Six-Penny Creek Settlement, an African-American community with ties to the Underground Railroad, and discover a historic well once used by its residents. The hike also visits the recreation area built by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC), offering a unique combination of natural beauty and local history.
