Lake Writers: The Lake Writers is a group of writers from around the Smith Mountain Lake area. The group includes writers of fiction, nonfiction, drama, and poetry. Some are published writers, and some are aspiring to getting their work published.The Lake Writers meet monthly on the second and fourth Fridays from 10 am to noon. The first Friday meeting is at the Moneta/SML Library near Downtown Moneta; the second Friday meeting is at Trinity Ecumenical Parish off Route 122. All invited to attend.
