One of the most exciting parts of the day unfolds at Rocky Hill Ranch (RHR), where Relay Rider #3 of the “Cheat Sheet” takes on all the trail miles inside RHR’s legendary singletrack—fast, fun, and especially thrilling to watch. If you’re planning to cheer riders on, RHR is a fantastic spot to catch the action, soak in the energy, and enjoy the wooded terrain as cyclists power through the final push of their relay leg.
The start and major portions of the race take place at Bluff Creek Ranch (BCR), which also offers on-site camping for those who want to stay close to the action . But spectators and racers can also make a weekend of it by staying in nearby Bastrop County, home to charming small towns, great local dining, and miles of nature to unwind in after race day. It’s the perfect base camp for a fun, outdoorsy getaway surrounding this high-energy cycling event.
