Details:
A gentle practice that helps strengthen the pelvic floor muscles, back, and core while seated or with the aid of a chair. This class blends Hatha style yoga and basic ballet technique to build balance, self-awareness, and a mind-body breath connection. Wear comfortable clothes--all other supplies provided.
*Safe for participants with Diastasis Recti (at least 6 weeks post birth)
Presenter bio: Jessica Bouffioux was taught Iyengar-style yoga by Meera Sanghani while studying theatre and dance in Chicago. Since then, she's performed with various circus & dance companies and later completed her RYT200 with mentor Jacquie Moku. She's grateful and truly feels at home leading yoga retreats and classes around Southeast Ohio. She hopes to empower yogis to listen to their bodies with compassion.
