Storytime isn’t just for kids! Get comfy and settle in with Librarian Todd as he reads a colorful tale from short stories past. Thrills, chills, laughter, and tears are all on the table with Todd this summer.
From Todd: Colors can indicate change and embody transformation. Librarian Todd will read Dark They Were and Golden Eyed, a science fiction story by Ray Bradbury, originally published in the August 1949 issue of Thrilling Wonder Stories (where it was entitled, The Naming of Names), and first collected in a book of Bradbury short stories in A Medicine for Melancholy, which came out in 1959. It is a Mars story that did not appear in The Martian Chronicles.
