Details:
An Arthurian tale in the form of a beautiful and cleverly-composed narrative poem, it was originally written in Middle English in the 14th century. The poem is at once a retelling of a primordial Celtic myth and a sophisticated story of honor, temptation and discovering moral courage. The poem exists only in one unique manuscript, its author anonymous, but possibly a woman. Take a journey to Camelot and the mysterious and dangerous regions in the back of beyond, with the eerie Green Knight, the gracious Sir Bertilak, the seductively-testing Lady Bertilak, and the young Sir Gawain seeking to prove (and know) himself.
