The novel’s demonstration of the way that memory and interiority insert themselves into our everyday experience was an aesthetic leap forward, and the film faithfully captures the complexities and nuances of Woolf’s literary masterpiece. This critically acclaimed drama stars Vanessa Redgrave and Natascha McElhone.
